The stingray behind me!!!

I was out on the beach with my dad. We were diving in the ref before we got in. I notest a stingray. My dad saw another one but it was bigger. Luckily it was not swimming by us. We got in the water. I got some paua I got 7 pauas. And when I went to go swim past my dad. He yanked me back then. I got a fright, something zoomed past my face. It was a massive stingray. my dad saw it when I was in a hole and I popped paua off its shell. And I remembered that stingray like paua and then I heard my ankle whisper that it was behind me. I got scared and swam as fast as I could to get to my dad and my uncle. My dad graded paua and cut it and threw it far away from us. I was scared to get another paua but then I got one anyway. I liked stingrays but after that day I hated them I wanted to go back to shore. But I still like going diving with my dad sometimes. Because it is fun seeing all the sea life underneath the blue ocean.true story

The treaty is a very important story, in 1769 Captain Cook arrived in Aotearoa and he was taking all the leaves and the plants and they were shooting the birds and whales.  On 6 February 1840, the treaty was signed and some chiefs did not want to sign the treaty. In 1845 the New Zealand Wars started with guns and spears. In 1865 the native court was assembled. In 1872 the New Zealand Wars finished. In 1960 Waitangi Day was made and 13 years later it became a national holiday all over the world. In 1989 the modern treaty settlement was agreed over the land of the Waitomo caves. Now people go there sometimes to the place where the war started and they would take photos on Waitangi Day or any other day in the year some people go there on Waitangi Day.

On February the 12th room 3 4 and some from room 5 went to Kis for Technology I was in a  cooking class we made fritters and we ate them outside on the deck and then after play, we cleaned it up and lined up outside and then we lined up by the gate and then we went on a bus back to school the year 7 boys got to go on a truck bus back to school and then we got to play until the teachers called over the speaker.
